I don't know how many people will remember the original book about the Dons getting beat every Sunday, but it is looking like this story has now gone full circle.
This season the Dons have played 14 - lost 14.
Earlier this season some people were saying that the Rovers board were more interested in the Dons rather than the Rovers. I would suggest that this is patently not true, but does it give us a glimpse into the future?
The Dons have only just sacked their Chief Coach, does this mean that PD has to lose 13 successive matches before he is reviewed? Also there is obviously no money going in to the Dons.
If this is to be the future for Club Doncaster, I'm afraid we are looking at some very dark deeds, indeed.
From what I have been reading on here, there aren't many that see a bright future. Is that being pessimistic, realistic, or are there any grounds for optimism?
I don't see the future as black as I have suggested, but I feel that any optimism is being pushed to the limits!
Before, anyone picks me up the Dons and Rovers having different boards, or something, I have no idea who is on the Dons, I am just linking them because of what has been said earlier and the Club Doncaster association.
Another Bloody Sunday

With a scoring record like that, Ba must be Theo's long lost twin brother!

Bury have already been busy bringing in 2 top quality players for league 1. Defender Peter Clarke former captain of Huddersfield and goal scorer Leon Clarke. As mentioned we get linked with the scraps to tussle with the seagulls!

We cannot expect to compete with big clubs like Bury and in any case there has to be time for "due diligence" which is necessary in order to ensure that we do not make mistakes in player recruitment.
Unfortunately we do not seem to be very good at due diligence either.
Can anyone think of anything that we are either good at or have got right?
I know; it seems that "we" did not expect to get into the play-offs at the beginning of the season...and we didn't.
Bravo!

Don, maybe they're hoping for another takeover bid in the hope of having another excuse ready for the forthcoming season!

Pity they couldn't get Newcastle Azza, however, they are going to be here in Milwaukee at Miller Park baseball stadium on July 14th against Mexican team Atlas.
