The difference between the top 4 and their cl football and the rest is no longer as significant and going forward it will be very possible for mid table clubs to make considerable profits with out having to compete at the top

We're not broke. We just have owners who couldn't give a toss about squad development and only look to sign players with a good potential sell-on profit. I suppose that's what happens when you sell a club to carpet-baggers.
