Not a chance that they did this to generate bets on it. Can't think of any organisation that would report transfer rumours in a way that influences people to bet on them, whilst also owning a transfer betting site........

Also why would a sponsor be given this kind of information? When we agreed to them being a sponsor did we sign an agreement saying we have to tell them in advance of any transfer we make that's being kept secret?
