Floyd/Manny Shenanigans

Floyd posted this video mocking Manny's shoulder excuse. He's talking to and slapping a mannequin in the video

Manny responded with this statement

“A real champion is gracious both in his words and conduct," Pacquiao said. “Someone who is a champion not just in his chosen field of endeavor but even in his own home and private life.

“We should understand Floyd Mayweather Jr. because of his family background," Pacquiao continued. “He hailed from a family of ex-convicts and he himself is an ex-convict. We could not blame him because his action just showed the kind of family upbringing he had."

“I still respect him as God’s creation and I won’t resort to such kind of a low blow just to get his attention. It only reminds me of what he did to his ex-wife. I hope he would find time to reflect on his life and repent for the sins he committed in the past.

“He’s just like a lost soul still groping in the dark. I pray that may God touch his heart so he will discern the real meaning of love and life."

I think they're both trying to hype up a rematch so they can both make a killing again. There's no other fighter out there for the pair of them that can make them the kind of money they'd make by fighting each other. Yes the public have already been duped once but I'd say for Floyd's last fight, it could possibly do huge numbers again.

Floyd could fight a soft touch in Sept and Manny can make his return in late November, so they could both be free to face each other again in May next year. That's what I'm thinking anyway.

It wouldn't make as much as the first fight but it will still make far, far more than any other fight out there.

Manny fans will claim that the shoulder injury he sustained during the fight didn't allow him to fight the fight he wanted to.

Floyd fans will claim that with or without an injury Floyd would do exactly what he did in the first fight.

Also the recent comments between both fighters and building animosity would certainly add to the fight hype.

I can't imagine we'd get the weirdly friendly pre-fight press conferences in a rematch that we got in the first fight. In fact I think they'd be quite venomous which is what we all wanted first time but didn't get.

Either way the rematch won't happen for a whole host of reasons.

Still plenty of Pacquiao fans out there. Fighter of the Decade, World Champion at eight weight classes. Nothing can change that.

One points defeat to an unbeaten Mayweather isn't going to rid Manny of all his fans. Certainly not his real ones anyway.

If Manny comes back he'll still likely beat most of the very best WW's out there even at the age of 37.

I'm a Pacman fan. I just choose not to put his balls in my mouth.

Can you say the same about Floyd vic?

Manny is an incredibly exciting fighter. He will be missed when he hangs them up

Yup, there's nobody out there quite like him and he will be hugely missed when he does retire. Hopefully we see him in the ring again even if it's just once or twice more

Floyd the aggressor you've completely exposed your lack of boxing knowledge Larry.

Clueless.

Lennox Lewis the greatest ever you muppet
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Larry I see you went away after the humiliation you received yesterday only to troll through my huge articles history for a few hours.

Me humilated everytime you post you embarrass yourself and show yourself up because you dont know anything about boxing. I didnt need to go through your history. I remember that laughable article. Lewis wouldnt beat Ali. Considering the troubles he had with Ray Mercer I dont think he would beat Frazier.

If that's the best you can come up with after what was clearly a few hours of your Sunday going through my articles then it shows how little you have.

You spend your weekends on pacland forum with the rest of the pactards whilst playing with yourself watching pro Pacquiao youtube videos.

And no I didn't say that Lewis is the "Greatest". That title goes to one man and we all know who that man is.

A man who was a true Champion and one who our present day Champions could learn a lot from in terms of what it means to be a true Champion in and outside of the ring.

What I did say was the following "I believe that if you were able to gather every Heavyweight Champion throughout history in their prime and get them all to fight each other then Lewis is the one who would end up with most wins".

That's my belief and I'm sticking by it and I'm not saying it out of some misplaced Brit patriotism. Lewis was the most underrated Heavyweight in history as far as I'm concerned.

That's not to say that Lewis would have beaten Ali in a one on one fight necessarily but again I revert to what I said before.

Maybe there is an argument that the modern day Heavyweights have simply got too big and that there should be a separate Super Heavyweight Division to filter out these monsters we get today.

Back in the day we had the likes of Marciano at 5"10 and Joe Frazier at around the same height. What chance would these guys have had against 6"8 and 6"9 Klitchkos who are almost a foot taller ?

Your belief is based on delusion and lack of knowledge of the sport. Im a massive Lewis fan but no way in hell does he come out on top. And you actually think Klitschkos beat Frazier. Frazier is their worst nightmare. I suggest you look up the actual height of the Klitschkos no way in hell are they 6ft 9. Like I said everytime you post you embarrass yourself with your lack of knowledge. Valuev is 7 ft. He must be close to invincible based on your logic.
