Mr C I don't believe we'll get a rematch in a million years.

I said before the fight that the only way we'd get a rematch is if Pac won and absolutely nothing has changed.

More chance that we'll get a Marvel/DC crossover movie than see these two ever fight each other again.

superb i agree, right after the fight, i thought that's that then. no more manny / floyd saga but i just think they're gna heavily use the shoulder excuse as a way to hype a rematch up. it makes business sense for both fighters. yes they will con most people again but that's the way it goes. floyd and manny make another monster payday.

Mr C a rematch would still make fortunes and vastly more than any other boxing matchup out there.

Floyd wouldn't risk it though. He got his win against Manny, why risk it all again against a Pacquiao desperate to prove a point.

That Boxing is dead?

Superb, of course he did prove his point that hes better than manny. He's also better than any of WW out there and better than Cotto and GGG imo. Maybe a Cotto rematch might appeal to him but it wont generate as much as Pacquiao II. It probably wont happen but dont rule it out.

Making the first fight took six years, getting those two in the ring was extremely difficult and I just can't see it happening again.

Floyd will probably take a couple of easier fights, break Marciano's record and then retire. I don't believe that he'll only fight once more.

Manny couldn't beat Floyd in a month of Sundays, he's simply not skilled enough.

--------------------------------

Well if Manny can't then who can. Everyone else might as well give up and we can hand Floyd the Marciano undefeated record right now.

Regardless of what anyone says on this board a rematch would still generate far more money than any other fight in boxing many many times over.

Yep. And they (manny and Floyd) played this perfectly. Biggest con job of the decade. Making people wait for this fight for 5 years. I bought into and so did most of this board. Regardless of whether we think a rematch. Is warranted or whether manny deserves it facts are it's always been about money and if there is money to be made it will happen again
