Despite what some papers are saying sky sports says we have made no approach sign Harry Kane.
I hope this is true. If he repeats his form next season I would be all for it but I have my doubts he is a truly top player.
I think he will go on to have a decent career but is he the man to lead the line for a club like United for the next 10 odd years?
I don't think so somehow.

Rooney hadn't produced anything like the season Kane has had before we signed him from Everton, not even close over the period of time Kane has been scoring for.
Although Rooney was a fair bit younger wasn't he?

Spurtle
There were far more than 4 or 5 tbf.
Interesting to have a Spurs fan commenting here though. What are your expectations for Kane? I've stated mine.

Mr Chelsea
If I were Daniel Levy I would be hoping for offers for Kane right now

Yep. You cant even put English tax on the guy. He's not even good enough to qualify for the add on tax. £3-5m at best imho.

It's guessing to say he will flop.
But to get than many goals with so little talent around him he deserves a bit more credit. He takes up good positions and has good strength for his age.
He's not a Darren Bent say relying on pace and just tap ins
