Exactly my thoughts too. Glad you can see the positives, Hes not a world beater by any stretch but he has shown on his day can be quality. Just needs to do it for a whole season.

If we playing a midfield 3 I ain't sure he fits in

I don't think he had a bad season last season, yeah ok he was a bit all at sea at the beginning but he picked up, & did really well half way onwards...I think he'll improve..

Our best player second half of last season in my view. The injury is a big set back hope he's back soon.

He was great after Xmas, he and Rudy saved us. We have tied him down to his best years. Next season, he will be hampered by lack of pure season, but I am convinced he is in love with the club and will play for the badge.
