Negative Arsenal hoodoos/traits

Over the years there have been numerous legit reasons people have said we can't compete with the big boys but over the last 2 years, we have started to put things right.

We went 9 years without a trophy then won back to back FA cups.
Our win at the Etihad was the first vs the big boys in a very long time.
No win at OT since 2006 until we won there this year.
First win vs Mourinho in 14 attempts.
1 world class signing a Summer as opposed to selling world class players.
Signing players from rivals as opposed to selling to them.

So basically, we have ended our trophy drought, we no longer sell to rivals, and we now compete in the big games. There aren't many more reasons to think we can't compete for major honors this season.

Obviously the major stumbling block with us is injuries, we need to prove we can overcome them, the signs at the moment look good but it is early days yet. I think it's a joke with our funds that our alternatives to Coquelin are Arteta/Flamini. Even of he doesn't get injured it is a fact he will get suspended for at least 3 games this season.

We also need to stop getting spanked away to Stoke and going out in the last 16 of the CL.

Last time I checked we were 5/1 to win the league. Although Chelsea are very strong and City/United are serious threats, I think 5/1 is excellent value for us and it's probably gonna be the first time I stick money on us to do it. Last year everybody knew before a ball was kicked that Chelsea would win it. This season there doesn't seem to be an outstanding team and neither of the teams above us last season have done anything in the transfer window to worry me they might pull away.

What's up to you too... Also, what's happened to you?!

He is so much better technically than the aforementioned, plus he's 5 years younger than Walker and 6 years younger than Coleman. You must be joking!

Big, maybe, it'll be a more competitive fight than people think.

Technically he's sht, don't let his passport fool you. I was comparing their style not their age.

if that were true you wouldn't feel the need to mention it in your display name on a sport discussion forum

"A RB? Are you ok?"
===

What do you mean am I okay? Bellerin needs to be sold and Debuchy is alright but not elite, need better.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bellerin is raw and has bags of potential, his positioning let's him down at times but once he grows as a player I genuinely think he will be one of the best RBs in the league. Debuchy can do a job and we have Jenkinson on loan. I think you are one in a million fans who would want him to be sold. What are you smoking?
