So What Shall We Talk About ?

Its gonna be a long 10 days so we might as well say whats on our minds. Forest was a great 'first point' away but expectations at home for those first two home fixtures were perhaps too high. I moan and groan for sure,..... but as a kid born in the mid 50's I remember Oakwell many a time being a fortress no matter what league we were in. Those days no longer exsist but I did expect better against both Saints & Boro. Perhaps these last two away games did take the pressure off Hill a tad......and lets hope we can take heart from these results as the team begins to gel somewhat. SGE and his Foxes will provide the perfect platform to assess whether a couple of results away from home were simply a flash in the pan or something that says the bookies yet again have got it wrong betting on our relegation....and normal service will be resumed at home. All in all results have been fickle for many clubs. Did you see Ipswich fans actually destroy their 15 foot banner flag draping over the away stand at Peterborough..........leaving the ripped material to be picked up by the cleaners. Can't say I've ever seen that from any BFC fan no matter what the result. Your flag and colours are the heartbeat of any home or away support. Perhaps there are other club supporters not as loyal as they make out to be. My youngest lad ( 14 ) asked me the other day if I won the Euro millions jackpot of say a £100 million would I invest in Barnsley .... given the state of our below par finances of other clubs in the league. Got to be honest and say I doubt it..... but never say never is my motto.

Glad we're out of it. If we reached the final I wouldn't have gone.

And what are all these pig references? You don't have the right to call me a pig. Only the pigs are allowed to call us pigs.

The Porky references duly come your way, as you refer to us as Dingles, which is more suited to the city of Bradford, near to where it's filmed.
You could say youve beeen turned over by the Dingles again !...

Meggie mucked up again playing wonderkid Obeone.
I bet Meggie is fearing the call to MMs office tomorrow.

It's got nothing to do with geography, Burnley fans are also called dingles. You don't call people cretins because they're from the Dauphine region of the French Alps.....

As for Megson, he should get a pat on the back for getting us out of that stupid competition.

Yeah! .... 'Populance' ......y'know .....its whats Sheffield is full of .....apathetic, dysfunctional, pestiferous, illiterate, boorish, vacuous, perfidious mutations

Not at all like we sagacious, perceptive, tolerant sybaritic, or perspicuous individuals from up the A61.

Oh no, I appear to have made a spelling mistake! Typical 'dee dar', eh?
