Well as there doesnt seem to be any, anyone been playing/interested in the witcher 3? I just gotta say wow. Yesterday was my first day of sitting down with it for an extended period of time, and now i am almost certain i will miss my Fallout 4 deadline.
Had played it previously for small like 1 hourish chuncks and i will be honest its a slow starter, but after you get started it is immense! Its one of those time sucking games, yesterday i tried to stop playing about 8pm (after a nice solid 4 hour session), finally turned the console off at about 10:30.
Another game i am loving because it isnt easy and you arent given everything on a platter, and my god how long does it take to level up?! The fact you need to read stuff, and listen to people talk to get clues is fantastic, and its also hilarious when you are on robbing sprees to find stuff to make something.
What about you lot? Have you been playing the witcher?

On my second play through. I loved it although technically it's not fully open world. One of the good things is that the side missions aren't filler. There's barely any collect so many of this object type stuff

SoG i love how they lead into different things, just done a quest that ended in killing a werewolf, didnt start like that would be how it finished so was pretty cool.......however, i worked out who it was just a shame they wouldnt let me kill them in human form

Currently playing as well, at lvl 17 and haven't set foot in Skellige, love how much there is to do. I agree that it starts slow, but once you get into it, it is amazing. Some very enjoyable light hearted moments and some rather dark ones too. All ties together really well to make a very solid game.
I do love fighting some of the more challenging monsters when they are much higher levels than you, you really have to think about how you fight them.
Also, the easter eggs I have found so far are brilliant.

It was a game I really wanted to get into, I just found it a bit dull. I put in about 20 hours, thought some of the story lines were pretty cool but combat was pretty boring and movement really clunky, particularly with the horse.
Maybe I'll pick it back up again in a few weeks, just found I could kill a few hours with it easily enough but wasn't really enjoying it
