Nationality laws can be very hard to understand. Our is one of the hardest because of all our empire building in the past.

Predictable.

No other reason to play valencia ahead of rafa other than a personal issue.

The reason I am pretty sure was height. LVG highlighted that we were a short team and many of his selections last season saw shorter players on the bench in favour of taller ones.

One word; Fellaini. So it ain't your curly haired barnet at fault, Rafa. Try harder.

I love Rafael, going to miss the little fella.

Impossible to know what was going on in his head but he seemed as passionate about the club as I was.

I hope he has a brilliant career and we almost regret selling him (just about don't regret it because Darmian plays so well! )

It is quite possible that LvG recognises that Rafael is a championship level fb - just like his brother is.
