I have no idea what United are going to do in the transfer market. I'd have thought the purchsase of a centre back was nailed on (Jones is already injured ffs) but there's no indication of that occurring. We're hanging onto the likes of Evans and Chicharito, both of whom appeared surplus to requirements a year ago. I don't know why suddenly they're considered good enough tbh

Merry - very strange. It's like we won't sell them unless we get replacements in first but are we actively looking for a CB and CF I do wonder. If we wanted Otamendi surely we would have just done the deal ?

Posh - That's true, they like to counterattack and I hope they sit back as they would cause us more problems if they went for it from the off with high energy game.
Give us the initiative and the pattern of the game will be set with us dominating possession

@jlou1978 I am sure Hernandez is an upgrade over Falcao and Depay is an upgrade over RVP and Rooney is gonna play upfront this season.

I think score draw, they are a different team under Sherwood.

Although you do have a great record there. Still can't get my head round Friday might kickoff for prem game, seems strange.

As Louis says we need more pace and creativity. We don't really have a player that carries the ball and runs at players, Depay and Young I guess but I think we still lack that.

RedMen7 when we played them with Sherwood in charge they seem to park the bus and hope they can hang on if we were wasteful. Having said that Benteke only needs a sniff at goal to score but thankfully Liverpool taken him away for us as he scored home and away against us.
