1) Most who saw the team sheet would have been worried about our central defence, but I thought Gabriel played pretty well. And tbf, he was the guy I was confident would do well. Chambers on the other hand..... All I can say is the guy has had worse performances than Senderos, Silvestre and Squillaci. That first half is as horrendous as you'll ever see from an Arsenal defender. The word "literally" gets overused in hyperbole but Chambers was LITERALLY Liverpool's greatest creative threat in that first half. The guy is too young to be dismissed as a flop, but SO FAR, he has been a flop. A disaster that doesn't even make our matchday squad anymore. People mock the likes of Phil Jones, who can do rash things, but I've never seen him anywhere near as bad as Chambers. Not even close.
2) For the Giroud fanboys, did you get a good look at Benteke today? The way he worked the channels getting into space, showed for the ball as a target man to relieve pressure and dominated with his strength at times? Did you contrast that with the statue we had upfront?
3) Some posts have rightly slated Wenger today.I would say I'm disillusioned, if I hadn't been for several years now. Apart from what we need to add to our squad, it's immensely frustrating that the one we actually have isn't even being used to its potential. The guy has to solve the Ramsey/Ox/Walcott situation and create something more balanced. Cos we really have looked laboured so far.

Good point there Sheriff although in the end Gabriel put in a very great composed performance. I expect big things from him now! Chambers is just dreadful, should cut our losses!
Coq was simply sensational today that us why this talk of a CDM from gooners baffles me! Looks like it's a case of people reverting to the old b|tching points because we didn't win

Benteke did far more han Girouod Giroud had a couple of chances but didn't get decent shots in from them and did little else. Benteke was far more mobile and had more of an influence on the game. Personally, given the chance to do a straight swap I'd take Benteke over Giroud.

Both had a similar impact. For me Giroud edged it and was unlucky to be subbed.
