Incredible result in what has to be our hardest game of the season.
Silvestri 7
Couple of impressive saves. Lacks command of his area, reminds me of Ankergren sometimes.
Berardi 7
Perfect right back for this level. Solid, dependble and full of energy
Bamba 8
Hes a worldy at this level. Full of presence and power. Wins everything in the air. Caught out once for the Hendricks chance. I worry about the defence without him
Cooper 7.5
Bar the goal where his inability to turn left him wanting, he was excellent and defended well. Perfect back up option in my eyes.
Taylor 8 MOM
Outstanding defending. Beefed out and is so composed on the ball. Hes got PL about him.
Cook 6
Offers pace and movement. Improved once Murphy came on. I worry about hom and Mowatt together as they lack experience and presence.
Adeyemi 7.5
Great finish and looks a spot on number 4 to shield the defence and add strength. We needed him last season. Good in the air.
Mowatt 5
Worked hard but not sure how he fits into the Rosler 433 system. His corners were below standard and didn't influence the game, though not the easiest team to do that against.
Byram 4
He's been annonymous most of the season and today was no different. Hes a right back and has said as much himself. He is better coming from deep. Looks lost. Odd man out at the moment. I would not be surprised to see him leave.
Wood 7
Great finish. A huge player for us. Offers strength and an xfactor upfront and suits Roslers style. Needs to work on his offsides and also his second touch.
Dallas 6
Another assist but as he has done a few times, fell away in the second half. Very encouragkng run and effort in the first half which was just wide and rightly called for handball. However, its what the modern winger does and hes a good player.
Subs:
Murphy
Offers steadiness and experience. Very useful player.
Antunecci
Great impact player. Rosler is bringing out the best in him. Great cross which Wood could have finished.
Overall I am delighted. To see our yoing lads take it to Derby in the first half was encouraging. The team played for their manager, pressed and looked very organised.
Rosler is a good fit for us. Pearsons improved us commercially and even Cellinos being less of a liability.
We seem to know what we need. Liam Moore, a winger and a Foristieri type would be a good squad to push forward with.
A long way to go and the players need time to settle. We have also only won one game which we could have lost - to add a sense of caution to my optimism!
A good time to keep the faith!
Cheers

Berardi, for me at least, feels like a classic LUFC player.
Talk about side before self. Kept his head down. Never whined, to my knowledge. Played wherever needed. And now he just seems to fit. Credit to him.

He was awful at the start of last season.
He then got stuck at leftback and did a good job there, he was not special by any stretch of the imagination, but he was dependable, and sometimes that's what you need.
Then when there was that whole sick note 6 balls and he was injured but travelled with the squad anyway and say on the bench.
That for me was a real turning point.
He went, for me at least, from being a good squad player to being a great part of the squad, willing to do that extra for the team while others sat at home.
And he has gone from strength to strength.
He is one of the first names on the team sheet for me

In hindsight I may be guilty of taking Cook for granted. He is utter class and does the simple thingswell, though 9 is a bit excessive.
Not sure anyone has it in for Mowatt... Hes a vital cog in our team.
Byrams the only weak link in an ever improving squad.

Maybe my 9 was a tad high: 8.5
Agree Matty. He's not a world beater. But he's bloody solid.

For me
Silvestri, Two quiet games in a row, shocking stuff - 7
Berardi - Business as usual, faultless and dirty sod - 7
Bamba - My MOM, immense again - 8
Taylor - Excellent , but too slow distribution for me - 7
Cook - Quality, best of youngsters by a mile - 7
Mowatt - Needs dropping as he doesn't dominate - 5
Adeyemi - Does the unnoticed work, good header - 7
Dallas - Too slow but keeps getting the assists so - 7
Wood - Struggled all day but great goal, love him - 7
Byram - Needs dropping not a wing forward - 5
Overall - Cracking performance, deserved winners and we are play off reaching contenders if we keep this up, add a quality centre mid, a pacey wing forward and alternative to Wood and we'll be up their. - 7

Cook a 4?
Best player on the pitch today.
8/9 easy.

I thought the whole attack ran through Mowatt when he came on last game. Today he was less visible. Cook was the guy who seemed to be involved in most of our attacks today.
I am concerned about the apparent lack of fitness of Dallas, Mowatt, and Murphy. I understand Dallas and Murphy, although the latter was only on for 20 minutes. I noticed after making good attacking passes he stopped running.

Pleased to read the comments about Berardi. He took a little longer to settle perhaps but the quality was always there.

Only disagree on two
Berardi was superb 8
Wood was a willing runner, never gave up scored a beauty 8
Agree with Taylor as MOM
Outstanding result.
We bossed the game for 65 out of the 90
They came out like men possessed second half, but we rallied and took them out. A great team performance. Something to build on. Brentford next and they've lost Pritchard who ran the game last term (he's back at his club) so let's continue at this level
