Exciting times ahead?

Make no mistake the appointment of Klopp is massive, this guy has a reputation that could easily see him managing CL regulars no problem. To get him shows what a draw Liverpool still are, we may have slipped from our lofty position but we are and always will be a special club.

With Klopp in charge we may even get top 4 this season but im not really expecting it, reading about him it appears he needs a good pre season to get the players fit enough for his "Gengenpressing" tactic.

One of the biggest advantages for me is his European succes, yes he may not have won the big one but he got damn close, getting to the European later rounds is...sorry was par of the course for us, lets hope this returns for us as to me tactically he is on level ground with the best there is; similar to rafa than any other...maybe, if he can do half as well as rafa then thats a good start.

The other aspects I am intrigued about is Klopp working with players like Can, Lallana and Lovren; Lovren has been a shadow of the player he was at saints, we will see if it was brs defensive naivety or lovren himself. Lallana and Can consistently played out of position by br may now actually become intrigal to our team, its going to be fascinating to watch.

I honestly cannot wait until our next game spurs away, players hopefully played in their correct position and team shape returning again. Welcome to Anfield herr Klopp

So if Lovren will be called as far from average as can be, which PL centre backs do you call avereage?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lovren and Lallana were good at an AVERAGE Southampton. They have reached their peak. Lallana is too slow and cant last 90 hes a joke. Lovren was NEVER better than Southampton standard

This

Too many people happy with these poor standard of players. Both well below lfc standards of a good player

Why you keep writing the same thing over and over again? It's become so boring. You invite other fans to laugh at us. I think you are deliberately doing it.

I don't think Clyne is better than Darmian, may be on a par.
Jones has been injured, but I think Smalling and Rojo/Jones are better than any of your pairings.
I think you slightly overate Henderson, no better than Herrera to me. Plus Schneiderlin, Carrick and Schweinie give us a better midfield.
Mata as good as Coutinho.
Not saying any off your players are bad, but overall an average squad. And ours is not much better.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh i think we are average alright. Deluded to think otherwise
===================================
The argument regarding player comparisons is marginal, if Coutinho ups his game, and shows consistency, for me, hes a far better player Mata, but were it matters, and if Liverpool can keep Sturridge fit, then Liverpool posses far more options up front than United, and ultimately this is what will count in terms of securing a place within this seasons top 4.
Well see.

I bet klopp gets 1 or 2 from dortmund, it always happens, manager raiding his former club.

From an outside point of view utd vs Liverpool

Goal Utd

Centre backs Utd only just

Fullbacks Utd. I rate Clyne but none of Liverpools others

Midfield Utd by far

Wingers/attacking Mids - Utd only just

Strikers Liverpool by far

Yeah tbf to Klopp he did a good job with what Dortmund had, it's not like he inherited established stars

Gotze was only a teenager, Lewandowski was a nobody, Subotic and Hummels were a 22/23 year old pairing, Gundogan another young player, etc...

The only top player he ever bought was Reus

Not only that, but he got players playing at a higher level than they actually were imo. Kagawa proved to be average in the prem, for instance, but did well there
