I think it's foolish to expect an immediate change in fortunes. At the end of the day the squad we have is still pretty average and was assembled by Rodgers.
Klopp is a very good manager but he's not a miracle worker, and until he is allowed the chance to put his firm stamp on the squad its unwise to raise expectations.

Sahin wouldn't even be a bad signing for Liverpool. He flopped with them before but he was used incorrectly and was clearly unhappy. With Klopp around they could the real Sahin who is a very good player

Average squad? I think thats ridiculous, id list them but I dont like lists......seriously though, our squad is far from average.

Imo br system changes made them look poor, I believe its one of the reasons br was let go, he had the tools but couldn't use them.

Our midfield is poor, our defence is 💩 our strikers are injury prone. We have some good attacking mids

Our squad IS average! We have NO world class players for starters. Basically no left full, no wingers, a lack of real quality in midfield and our best striker is a crock. We are definetly average. Lovren and Lallana DEFINE average

But imo neither your GK or full backs are as good. Or your central defenders, or your midfield. With Sturridge you have the best striker, buts let see how Martial turns out.
Coutinho sometimes, Sturrideg when fit, top class.
But who else would you say. PL quality yes, but top class, I don't think so.
But like Clough and Fergie he may get them playing better as a team than their individual parts suggest.

Clyne is better than Darmian...and there isnt much between our centre halves, Jones is so bad yous play Blind there. Shaw is best left full... Henderson is better than ALL of your midfielders (obv Schwein and Carrick past their best)

First of lovren and lallana were some of the best players for saints and in turn in the prem the season before we bought them, why do u think we bought them?

Your explanation of them being average does not make sense; how come they were part of the best players that season? How come lallana is picked for England? Lovren played for lyon and he was fine too.

Look at the team he had at Dortmund and compare it to Liverpool right now, you're miles behind, he's going to need a good few years to build his own team able to play his game.

Ruiney.....im glad u mentioned that, because b4 klopp went to dortmund they could easily be described as average at BEST.

Klopp jettisoned the older players and brought youth in, the majority were unheard of at that time, yet klopp moulded them and turned them into stars.

Lallana and the like could easily kick on under Klopp, if we see the lallana and lovren of saints, then they are as far removed from average as can be.

That's what I'm saying, he needs a good few years so there's no point expecting anything too soon. It will be interesting to see what happens with the transfer committee too seeing as they've bought a lot of crap

So if Lovren will be called as far from average as can be, which PL centre backs do you call avereage?
