Not overly excited by the signing either but managers like to have players they have prior knowledge of and can trust. Can see the logic in it. To be honest, options are very limited thanks to the FFP rules.

Rev, you by any chance picked up on the "I don't sign ex players" comment Bolton fans make every time we are linked with a player who has spent time under Dougie before.

I'm curious though, who are all these many players from Bolton. We signed Mills, but even rumours who?

Didn't you also get annoyed a while ago about the accepted bid (that was later denied) when it was reported by BBC, SKY and local media citing a source in the club? But now you're referring to transfer rumours/links?

Bolton fan in peace. Apparently Freedman wants to take Liam Trotter on loan. When he signed him for us he couldn't get into Millwall,s team......that's how bad he is!
Freedman certainly can pick em!
