Damn gregg...deus ex was one my fave ps3 releases...i also hadnt played the previous ones of that but it was so polished and diverse. Im also in the same boat with the witcher..this was my first experience, for me its game of the year..so far. Very very well made and wen u see the numers of devs and the budget it had, it puts most other dev teams to shame it really does. There are a few articles on here for the witcher have a gander at them so.e are pretty detailed and u get to hear the pro and cons...by all accounts this dlc is to be decent to good but the dlc planned for feb?(is that right simon?) Is supposed to be pretty special and a fairly large hefty expansion. I had deus ex as an 8/10. Witcher 3 is defo a 9/10 not far away from a 10. Ps only ff7 has or ever will get a 10

Ps greg there is more than enough explained in the game about who u r etc...not so much talk about past witchers but defo background as to who u r now in the game so no back story required..they defo had new players in mind when making it

All reviews I have seen for the expansion have been 9s there or there abouts, I didn't realise you need to have completed the prologue to start the mission (griffin) so was doing that last night. Though ng+ being a little broken didn't help as well......
Yeh Feb or march for the bigger expansion haven't got the details to hand, but that is the big one and promises something special.

Ah delboy found out today that the next expansion has had its release date sort of changed from q1 to first half of 2016
"Blood and Wine is the more substantial of The Witcher 3's two paid expansions, said to offer around 20 hours of gameplay, compared to 10 hours for Hearts of Stone. The expansion takes place in the new region of Toussaint and will "take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret."

A quick heads up for anyone wanting to play the expansion in ng+. I shall tell you a story of my epic failure........
I decided i would play the expansion as part of a new play through, and thus was saving starting my ng+ game until the expansion was released. Ok for me no problem, and i was playing mgs so all good. Anyways first failure was not knowing to start the quests i needed to complete the first hunt and leave the 1st area and talk with yen and ery. So done all that and finally was ready to start the expansion - WOOOOOOOOHho..................what?!?...........crap in ng+ you need level 62 So after all that back tk mh original gamd

At end of the original story I was 35, so I had read you needed to be over level 30, so didn't even consider that in ng+ it would be different
