As a self confessed FIFA fanboy for over 10 years I wanted to say that after playing both FIFA and PES 16 demos, I will definitely be purchasing PES 16 this week.
I had grown tired of the FIFA franchise continually spewing out annual titles with little or no changes. The focus on Ultimate Team and pure speed started to do my head in. So after reading the reviews and seeing that PES was getting some great write-ups, I decided to try the demo out before dropping another £50 on another underwhelming FIFA title.
Boy was I surprised. PES flows so much better and is way more enjoyable. It has a more natural feel to it - Something that FIFA has lacked for a few years now. If you can get past the little details like licensing etc. you'll be in for a real treat.
Im so glad I tried the demo before mindlessly going out to buy this years FIFA. If youre having doubts, give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised. I know I was. But hey, maybe it inst for you, and that's cool. I'm just glad there is a bit of competition between the two titles now, which can only be a positive for us gamers.

I scored a screamer last night , Erikesn chipped the ball into the Arsenal box and Kane unleashed a left footed jump volley, it hit the underside of the bar and went in.

I thought it was supposed to be realistic?

Im going for Fifa 16, but having just forked out £40 for MGS 5, which I am not too impressed with, Fifa will have to wait,.
I'll stick with 15 for a while

I would love 2K Games to make a football game - I think that would turn over both Fifa and PES.

Lefty it was a great goal , no football game is realistic with some goals scored but as a game goes for build up play and overall realism PES does this very well.

Nick im failing to see how youve come up with the opinion you have. "Static play and dodgy passing" - not being funny but maybe you just arent very good. That description is the last way Id describe PES. If anything youve hit out at its strengths.

didnt claim to be very good, but why does that matter when it comes to passing and the stodgy turn/pass design of the game. makes pros looks dodgy
