Before Floyd retired Wlad was number 2 and Rigo 3....Ward had been dropped for inactivity...
Floyd retires Ward clobbers the useless Smith and goes to 2....Gonzalez goes to 1 and Kovo and GGG leapfrog Rigo and Wlad...
Doesn't make sense to me..
Why are Kovalev/GGG above Rigo ??

You're missing my point mate......Those wins weren't enough to put him above Rigo before Floyd retired !!...
So a nonentity like Monroe is enough now Floyd has retired ??????........

Ward would school GGG

Think at 168 he may not be as effective also..

He has already proven to be the man at 160. If the Canelo v Cotto winner doesn't face him next, he needs to step up.
Some good challenges at 168. Other great fighters had to move up. Floyd and Manny climbed through the divisons to prove their greatness. So should GGG.
I am all for a man staying at a weight if it is stacked of talent, but Middle is full of crap.

He's also 33...

He is a very good fighter. I really enjoy his style. Just not happy with his resume.
His next fight is tailor made for him, but for what it is worth I think it will be a good watch.

I think Lemmy is stylistically perfect for him too...
Love to see him fight Degale....Definitely pay PPV for that..

He would struggle with Degale, at least early on. If Degale fought a perfect fight he could definitely box his way to a decision. Still "might" make GGG favourite.
Ward would clown him imo.
Be Mayweather vs Pac all over again.

Ward would mug him like he did with Froch.
If Degale manages to hold his ground...with the south paw style I fancy him.

People moan there are too many champions yet when a guy wants to clean up you whinge because you want him to go up a division. He can't win.
