Haha Truss, the man can fight but he hardly has a ledger of ATG on his list.

I agree.....Shouldn't be above Wlad and Rigo yet and nor should Kovo who's record is little better than Stevo's.

Feel bad for Rigo. Such a talent!

Can't get the fights......But If you're number 3 and Kovo and GGG go above you for Monroe Jr and a 50 year old..

You know there is a problem..

Gonzalez has done well to get the #1 slot...

Smaller fighters tend to get shafted like Rigo is getting now..

Donaire being a top p4per at the time I think accounts for most of it and the fact he's highly skilled..

I get your point though although If he's good enough to be number 3 one week... I fail to see how beating 50 yr old Hoppo and beating a Monroe jr puts two guys higher...

Donaire was p4p top 5 when rigo not only beat him whooped him! GGG is the most overhyped fighter possibly ever! He's away to fight his first world champion in 30 odd fights and the age of 33/34 the MW divisions champion is a fighter who could make WW! If Julian Jackson was around just now they would be saying the same about him, saying that GGG does have something he just doesn't prove it, if he can't get a "fight" at MW then move up simple as that

Let's give GGG 160....and let's see him fight Degale or Ward..

posted on 14/10/15

Does he really need to unify everyone knows he's the best MW there is

posted on 14/10/15

I agree....Seems to want to unify because it's easier than taking on the 168 pounders....

Ward would be more legacy enhancing.

Still think If Geale types fancy it....Top fighters do too...

Perhaps his team haven't tried hard enough...

GGG gets well paid..

GGG has beaten Murray, Macklin, Stevens and Geale. Donaire is rigo's only big win. Agree about Kovalov though

You're missing my point mate......Those wins weren't enough to put him above Rigo before Floyd retired !!...

So a nonentity like Monroe is enough now Floyd has retired ??????........

Ward would school GGG

Think at 168 he may not be as effective also..

He has already proven to be the man at 160. If the Canelo v Cotto winner doesn't face him next, he needs to step up.

Some good challenges at 168. Other great fighters had to move up. Floyd and Manny climbed through the divisons to prove their greatness. So should GGG.

I am all for a man staying at a weight if it is stacked of talent, but Middle is full of crap.

He's also 33...
