It has to be said that a lot of what was shown we have seen before, but a little meat was added to their bones, with a little more information detailed.
No Mans Sky, finally gets a release date, unfortunately it wont be till June, which is disapointing on two fronts, first it is far away and second if it is a VR release title (my thoughts) then VR is far away too
No Mans Sky was also was mentioned as console exclusive which caught me by surprise.
Wild looked amazing, I knew it looked good but the gameplay surprised me, looking like a game with real quality (worth watching Simon I think you missed it)
Saw some more Streetfighter, followed by the news Tekken 7 is on it's way to console, which may be big news to some, bigger news for me is that it will be VR compatable, how thats going to work is anyones guess
The major announcements were the new games coming to the PS4
Matterfall, http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2015/10/27/introducing-matterfall-a-new-ps4-game-from-housemarque/
don't know much about other than what was shown, so onto the next game
Quantic Dreams new game Detroit, a game based around an old PS3 Demo called KARA, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RopEHHgCIv0
a lot of people will be excited by that news and finally find out what happened to Kara https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL2gW7hmXu4
GT sport was announced, http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2015/10/27/gran-turismo-sport-announced-at-paris-games-week/
news on a new GT will please a certain Delboy that lurks around this place, don't ask me the details, there is some sort of tie in with the FIA, oh and as expected will support VR.
Talking of VR there was another New game from Crytek, built around VR and typical of a Crytek game it looks amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5dWNiixrqE
There was also some VR spin off from Until Dawn announced, VR momentum is building but still no Price or release date

Yeah my mate loves his racer's and put's me to shame, unfortunately he has no wheel, although he had a great time with the one I had, even built a rig to sit in.
He doesn't have too much time these days, but he can definitely hold his own in races.

Ahh shame, we only allow other wheel racers unfortunately. You should still check our site out Amiga for what it is its extremely organised and very professionaly presented.
Yeah the site is full of guys that are awesome against the run of the mill racers then left scratchin their heads as they look at the guys we have 2/3 secs a lap faster.....i should know im one of them !!

Yeah, amazing physics but sadly not very good at being a video game. Extremely clunky interface, restrictive control bindings and too few cars/tracks for the price. I'm also a bit miffed that they announced DLC before they had even left early access. There's also not a whole lot to do other than make challenges for yourself. I've heard the online community is pretty good though, so that might appeal to you.
The physics are pretty spot on. Doing the hillclimb track in the Alfa Mito (because I'm a chicken) is probably the most immersed I've been in an racing game.
The AI also gets a lot of criticism but I find it to be acceptable, at least amongst cars of similar spec. They make mistakes that real drivers would and don't just barge you off the track... most of the time. Really fall down if you have big gulfs in performance - it took 2.5 laps of Monza for the F1 cars to get past around ten Abarth 500s. For some reason they seemed happy just to sit behind them.
Hopefully the relative success of this game gives the studio a bit of a boost and they can make a much improved sequel. Could become a very strong franchise.

Wasnt bad, just found it to be a recap with a couple of things thrown in, excellent if your are pretty casual and dont follow that much news. Biggest problem was how good sony were at e3 and pax.
Seems the age of the dinosaurs are back! Horizons is looking amazing, Crytek + vr + dinos = a huge win, but still not convinced 100% by the first coming of vr, and why the fook would you make an experience about walking a high wire........idiots.
Said in the other thread drivers are getting spoilt, though not sure what sony are planning with 2 pretty similar 1st party racing games.

I disagree on the High wire VR, I think it is a really simple effective way to demonstrate to people the power of VR.
No it will never be a stand alone game, but it makes a huge impact on the people trying it.
