I find myself agreeing with a lot of points in this post from WAGNH (I'll post it below as it's pretty long)
And despite all of the negatives... I still want Jose to stay. The economic and footballing cost of sacking him is just too big to ignore.
The club allowed him to sell our flair players because we hoped that he was going to build a footballing dynasty and we wanted him to be able to shape the team in his image.
The club gave him such a huge contract because we believed our manager merry-go-round was finally over and we no longer had to worry about expensive compensation packages.
Both of these points are irreversible so I find myself thinking the only logical option is to keep Jose as manager. Sacking him is pretty much out of the question unless we seriously look like dropping out of the top 4 (CL money > compensation).
Interesting Article/Post (it's a long one)

Did you write all that?
It's just too much and all speculation
Is it your uni dissertation?

No, I didn't - someone who quite clearly has too much time on their hands did
Anyways, it's in sections so you can read each post individually

OP so you have some issues with José but want him to stay as manager.
Could have saved you about 10,000 words

Can't find much to disagree with above observations.
So we have a spoilt brat of a manager, but he's our spoilt brat of a manager. Make no mistake he has been living off his reputation. A reputation built on success .
If he wants to keep his supporters on board he'd better win a few games and manage the players, after all thats what he is paid to do.

Interestingly, it seems to me that José is errorneosly ignoring the youths who are more likely to get us out of the current dilemma. The youths can play their hearts out to win and prove a point, he should know that. The senior players have nothing to lose really, they might just be waiting for the club to sack him so a new manager can bring back Eva and restore the joy and love @cfc.

We all know José is an egomaniac and we're all aware of the many flaws in Jose's very outspoken character. But the thing is we've been well aware of all this for years and we were well aware of this before he returned as Chelsea manager.
People were happy to put up with these character traits and flaws when we're winning but when things aren't going so well it all becomes about Jose's character it seems.

For me he is ten times worse than in his first spell.
His character traits may have always been there, but he was better at reigning them in last time round both in terms of depth and quantity.
He has become a caricature of himself and a deserved target for ridicule and that in turn makes the club a target for ridicule too.
He is damaging the image of the club and as Gazza said taking the fun away from supporting Chelsea.
He is making everything totally about him and he clearly does not give a flying feck about the negative consequences.
I really don't think any boss at work would command the respect of the team that he/she manages if he/she continued this relentless pattern of poor behaviour and I think he has lost the respect of many of the players.
