According to the Metro, so not exactly reliable, Dalglish would be prepared to let Meireles go to Chelsea if they offered Sturridge in return rather than Yossi.
This actually makes sense to me. We need a back up striker more than a midfielder, despite Raul's obvious quality, and I'm not sure that Sturridge would end up as "back up". Might be Carrol or Kuyt as back up, Sturridge and Suarez could end up first choice?
What do we think. Deal or no deal?
Excellent news about Sebastian Coates by the way.

Lukakakakakakakauakakaka or however you spell it

That would take some work fitting that on the back of a shirt!!
I really wish people would give Meireles some respect. He is a much more important player than people are making out, to lose him and Aquilani would be seen as a major blow imo, even if it meant we got another striker.
Adam and Henderson are not as good as Meireles, he is our second best midfielder behind Gerrard, so we need him. Not for sale is what I'd say.
