I think you guys should target winning the Europa league. It feels much more realistic than hoping to get the top 4 spot

The only sensible option for me this season is some astute purchasing in January, squad rotation and youth opportunities for the remainder and cut out the teams chocolate mini roll allocation during pre-season next year.

I think there is more chance of me marrying Jenny Aniston and cheating on her with Kate Upton right now

We are Chelsea, we never do things the easy way if there is a hard way to do it.

Of course things will have to completly change instantly which is unlikely but if any one is built for that it is us.

I reckon you lads will finish top 4 being honest

We cant buy a goal at the moment and i dont buy the excuse that it'll all click soon and some team will get a thrashing. There's a reason why our football in the last 2/3rds of the pitch is so poor. Its because Jose since his return has focued on defensive solidity and organisation, its made our attacking abilities totally blunt.

There are so many things wrong with the way we attack and that is why when we do seem to have a good game, we never really score many goals.

When we attack, either we're attacking with far too few players or the players are miles apart from each other or the passing is so slow that it totally ruins the attack up by giving the opp time to reorganise. I dont believe this is just because of bad luck. The players actually have no idea what to do. You have to put some blame on Jose for this. Some blame on the players and blame on the club for not getting some of the targets Jose wanted

There comes a time when you have to say. Ok fair enough we didnt get the players we wanted in the summer but is this squad we have a squad that is befitting of the 16th place we're currently in? Something has to give.

There's seasons where you write off where you can see where the team is going. You can see what the manager is trying to do so you allow him the season to try and sort it but with this team right now, its pretty much in a bad bad place. Horrible football being played for the most part. Cannot score and cannot keep clean sheets at the back. You write seasons off where you can clearly see there will be progress next season. What are we actually doing this season that makes people think it will click next year?

costa got injured so remy played who can actually score, and hazard was alright last year too

But I agree, 59 points from 26 games, is an unrealistic expectation. We're not going to go from relegation form for the first third of the season to title winning form in the last two thirds.

It is a good point, but i think that approach may have the risk of greater margin for error. Ultimately I prefer to look at the points tally of teams that have the quality to finish 4th.

You're 16th, so you have a hell of a lot of teams to chase down and overtake, if you do it it will be the most amazing feat ever in the PL imo
