RIP, great actor, I remember his other very different roles like the one in the Sweeney, as well as Alf Garnett.

A particularly relevant quote from him in light of yesterdays tragic events in Paris:
"I hate fundamentalism in all its forms. Jews, Catholics, Baptists - I think they are all potty and capable of destroying the world"

The stupid woman on London News on TV has just said that Warren Mitchell was a life-long supporter of West Ham.
RIP Alf.

I loved the early episodes of Til' Death...all the arguing and shouting. What a great actor Warren Mitchell was. This was a 'must see' every Saturday evening.
That one when he went to Anfield with his son-in-law (Anthony Booth) to see West Ham and they actually stood on the terraces as the match was being played was hilarious. Also the one when he couldn't get into the bathroom at home and had to try and find a toilet somewhere.

downsouf - Links?
On a side note when I was growing up my late Aunt (who was a big fan of the show) said that apparently the cast didn't get on at all in real life. Does anyone on here know if that was true or not?

^ Chelsea. I'm not sure if they're on YT. I just remember them, that's all.

They do sound like they could be very funny though.
