From BBC website:
1310: BBC 5 Live reporters Alan Biggs reports that Mark Beevers could prove a bargain buy from Sheffield Wednesday today. "There's Championship interest and Barnsley may follow up a recent £200,000 bid," he says. "It's not long since the defender was in the sights of Premier League club."
Thoughts? Will MM look to bring some cash back in, or will he keep the squad together?

"JOC only (and sadly) comes on just to "close the game". Funny, we always concede as soon as he enters the fray"

Hmm.. not wanting to open up a JOC debate a/ because it's tiresome and b/ because there really is nothing to add. Nor am I particularly seeking to defend him. However a little accuracy wouldn't go amiss. Far from conceding whenever he comes on, so far this season..
v. Rochdale about 10mins + stoppages, no goals conceded
v. Blackpool, 120mins + stoppages, 0 goals (+ deciding pen. Hurrah!)
v B'mouth 10 mins + 1 goal (which was down to errors by two defenders mainly)
v. Notts Co. 2mins = 0 goals
v Blackburn 90mins+, 3 goals
v Scunny 10mins +, 1 goal
Bradford 90min+, 0 goals.
There, that doesn't actually read too badly!

Ha! Old Wilberforce rebuked me for my ironic laughter when JOC scored his penalty.
