My, my, how poorly SA have batted. To be down 12/5, I can't recall the last time they batted so terribly. I see India is bowling well and pitch is helping, but pretty amateurish the way Elgar, Amla, and ABD got out. Now, Faf a wild swing, completely missing, and getting clean bowled, leaving SA reeling at 35/6.

If I recall correct in 2012 in the UAE.. England bowlers bowled very well. It was the fact England kept getting bowled out for less than a 100. that cost us the series..

I dunno how many??? ashwin shouldn't be allowed to go abroad with the record he has..

Not defending Ashwin but when he play overseas he's hardly used and as the fast bowlers are utter tripe the opposition don't need to take any risk whatsoever against him. They can just milk him like a cow as they know the fast bowlers will leak 4-5 runs an over with ease.

SA wickets have been tumbling again. 103 for 8. I wouldn't say it's a terrible pitch. There has been some poor batting and some good bowling.

SA batting, barring ABD, has been a disaster in this series. I guess this is the worst ever for Amla and Faf. Their confidence seems lost.
When SA leave India, I reckon their bowling will still be pretty good with Steyn, Morkel, Rabada, Abbott, and Philander. I think they will remain weak in the batting department for the next year or two.

Total blockfest by Amla et al. I quite enjoyed it. Old school.
