Ranieri believes that Leicester will be able to keep Vardy and Mahrez because....well read for yourself.
Vardy and teammate Riyad Mahrez have been the two most influential figures in the Foxes' rise to the top of the league, form that has inevitably seen the pair linked with moves elsewhere. But Ranieri is confident the plans he has in place at the King Power Stadium will be enough to convince the duo to stay should they receive offers.
"I think we are building a very good construction," the Leicester boss continued. "I understand if somebody wants to go but I believe in the next year, Leicester, slowly, slowly, can grow up and battle with the top. At the moment we are very happy and also Jamie is happy with us and he can continue to show his strength with us. Jamie, Riyad, everyone. This is our project. I spoke to the owners not now, in July, People believe in me – I believe in me too."
And I absolutely believe in you Claudio. As soon as he was appointed me and my dad started talking about European football because he always qualifies teams for Europe and it looks like he might well achieve it here too. I'm hoping for the team Tottenham played, ive not been to Azerbaijian 😂
So he believes we can move on next season and strengthen our position towards the top six and with that as the goal, why would players leave? If we're a top side playing in Europe (which we could next season) then we'll have as much chance of winning trophies as the likes of Spurs and Liverpool.
I've been saying the owners want European football and this reaffirms it. We're not settling for safety, mid table, or even top 10, we're aiming bigger and our new extended stadium is going to be witness to a new Leicester City. Very exciting times ahead.

Yeah I know what you mean but I think we could keep them for a while yet. No point Mahrez going to United with LVG as boss.

Cambiasso left because he wanted one last shot in the champions league due to his age.
No such rush with Mahrez

Why would Utd want Mahrez - he's a poor man's Di Maria and we all saw what LVG thought of him?!
Don't understand that.
Anyway, I know you love our club Arro but you must understand that Liverpool and Spurs are a big draw. Those 2 or a top 4 club offering likely first team football would see any of our players leave.
That said, I don't think Vardy is worth the risk for any of those clubs (although Spurs and Liverpool do have a habit of spending big on average players recently), so he may not leave.
Mahrez would fit in to some teams plans though. That said, if it's anyone outside the top 6, I do think we have a chance of holding on to them, and that is a massive step on for us as a club. We have our owners to thank for that.

But the way we're heading and Ranieri's Mission is for us to be in the top six above Spurs and Liverpool and why not?

Arro that may be the way we are heading but its not where we are. We could and maybe will fade and finish say 8th whereas at the clubs mentioned you know European football is basically guaranteed. Perhaps one day we could compete with these teams but look at Southampton they had all their best players picked up because of the history and status of the bigher clubs who came in for them

Next season and this season we could finish above both!

I don't think Southampton are the same as us though. Their aim isn't European football that was a bonus whereas not our owners its a prerequisite for where they want and need to be to achieve their goals.
They are ambitious, have the money, stadium, facilities, manager and squad to achieve European football this season and then every season after if we keep our players and continue to invest, which obviously we will.
The disadvantage Southampton had was nearly all their players were young and English and clubs need to buy them but we'll keep most of ours, including Mahrez if we're playing European football.

Marhez married to a Leicester might not want to leave to life in Paris Madrid Rome Barcelona, or London.
Your clutching a straws there mate

No i'm not at all. He's from Paris so I'm sure he doesn't fancy it there and my sister wouldn't want to live in any of those places so why assume a footballers wife will?
A lot of girls are very close to their families and would never move away so don't assume it's for everyone because it absolutely isn't!!

Asked if I would like to live in any of those cities and I would say no as well. They're not everyones cup of tea and this is something that really riles me because there are 7 billion people in the world and we all assume everyone wants the same things
