This guy is absolutely class, I can't believe bigger clubs didn't come in for him, and not only that but the price we got him for. I'm not saying he's as good as King was, but he's putting in some of the best CB performances the club has seen since Ledley retired imo, and I actually don't think they're too dissimilar in style.
He just quietly gets on with it and never puts a foot wrong, and I don't think he'd be out of place playing for the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barca, because he can play a bit too.
Hopefully we can hang onto him for at least a few more seasons.

Sturridge is a good striker but he's only ever had 1 good season ( mainly thanks to Suarez )
Injuries has stopped him becoming a great striker and a striker I wouldn't want.

Harry often drifts wide and drives inside, so really don't get your point there. He is more than happy to get the ball at feet and take players on, and can whip a great ball in as we saw yesterday.
As a winger in a 4411, no, but Sturridge wouldn't exactly be great there either. As a wide forward in a 4231 or 433? Of course he could.
I like Sturridge a lot, but Kane is a more complete striker. Not many that can be as effective as a 9 as they are as a 10, they are a rare breed.

Ted never had the brute strength of Kane either, he'd never be able to get the ball down and run at players. I don't think he is the most graceful with ball at feet, but he is very hard to shake off it once he has it down.

To be honest I think he could be a Barca defender all day long, ticks many boxes. Technically excellent, quick across the ground.
