will it be the moneybags of Chelsea or City who tell their manager to put their stuff in a box and leave by the back door

If Chelsea lose to Porto and Leicester THEN it's goodbye to Jose and probably Chelsea as a force in the PL.

It's already "goodbye Jose" .... just a question of when it becomes public.

Ranieri would be perfect for Spurs.

And "when" Chelsea lose to Porto and Leicester 😉

Sorry arro but he's a better manager than Poch and probably won't stay at Leicester. Now I'm not saying Poch should leave Spurs any time soon but if he does go I'd choose Claudio as his replacement.

Comparing Poch Ranieri is utterly pointless. Poch is very much at the start of his managerial career, whilst Ranieri is a very seasoned old hand.
Their approach is also different, and I am amazed that the Tinkerman has fielded pretty much a settled eleven consistently at Leicester. However he is doing avert good job indeed.
Poch on the other hand likes younger hungry players who will buy into his methods & philosophy.
He is also not afraid to throw someone in at the deep end, with the adage if you are good enough, you are old enough!!!
A lot of you were trying to guess where Alli would be loaned out to this season, yet I forecast way back in February that he would be part of the 1st team squad, although I did not realise he would be such a hit so soon.
I hope Poch stays for at least another two seasons after this & if we go the way I think we will then hopefully longer than that!

Monk the next one out, with Rodgers in

There must be things going on behind the scenes in Chavv land, I think Moanrinho has lost the dressing room, dropping Terry..... sacking the doctor etc etc..... they`ve been going down hill ever since.

Thanks Squid...obviously ideally we want Spurs to challenge for the title but I would never begrudge so-called 'smaller' clubs like Leicester breaking the monopoly of the established elite so beloved of Sky Sports...I don't think those glory-hunting fans that have jumped on the Abramovich and the Abu Dhabi United Group bandwagons understand this concept.

This begs the question, which managers/coaches will be prepared to take on these jobs? Surely any potential candidates are aware that these posts are a poisoned chalice...unless they adopt a mercenary attitude and are prepared to just take the money and run. No offence to long-standing Man City and Chelsea fans (those that supported their teams prior to the influx of petro-dollars), but for the rest of the fans of premier league clubs, it is quite satisfying to see that money can't always buy success. Leicester's early success is very heart-warming and gives everyone hope that the spirit of football is alive and well.

Absolutely.
It's also a bonus that the man in charge happens to be a nice bloke. If he was a Mourinho-type it wouldn't quite be as heart warming.

It must be doubly satisfying for Ranieri that Chelsea's current position is so poor...after Abramovitch was looking to replace him with-Sven Goran Eriksson days after taking over in 2003...and eventually replaced him with Mourinho!
