A Bryan Robson at his peak ! What player he was. He had a ridiculous amount of injuries and should have been playing for England long before he did as at Wba he was incredible. It was so great he got to win the league finally in front of Sir Matt too. Can't think of a United player that deserved to win the league more

As you can probably guess I'm a big Pardew fan. Reminds me of myself. Only he's not as arrogant.

I remember Pardew being a pundit on MOTD2 once. He described a full back along the lines of 'he was raped all day long by the winger'...it didn't go down well...

It was Essien he was talking about.

Bryan Robson was a superb player. One of the bravest players I've seen in my lifetime too. Could turn a 40/60 challenge in his favour such was his competitive nature.
I was lucky enough to meet him in about 1992 when United played at Halifax in the League Cup. He sat in the main stand amongst the home crowd and didn't refuse a single request for an autograph, even during the match. A real gentleman.

Yeah would be good seeing Keane bullying midfielders in big games rather than watching it happen to Carrick.
What I'd give to have had Keane in midfield in all these Manchester derbies where Toure has absolutely raped us. He'd never let that happen.

Agree apart from the use of the word rape which isn't appropriate !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I always said about Keane that you realised just how good he was when he wasn't playing. That sounds like damning him with faint praise but it isn't meant that way.

Correct Clockwork.
Also some people forget how good Ince was when finally played in CM. He could ahem been a United great if he wasn't such a Guvner !!!

Ince was quality; such a shame it ended the way it did for him at Old Trafford. He had pretty much everything. I remember that game at Villa Park in 93 where Sharpe scored twice (first outing for the black kit, I believe, for the aficionados) and Ince was absolutely immense.

Yeah even at West ham he was superb..scored some belters from outside the area and could run all day with a change of pace too.

Indeed and I also like Veratti. That lad Kante at Leicester looks good thus far too
