Despite our good away record this might be a toughie, Charlton have been beaten only once in their last nine meetings with Leeds.
•Leeds have lost three of their last four visits to the Valley, winning the other 4-2 in which former player Ross McCormack scored all four goals.
So............can we do it...............course we can my prediction 1-3 (hopefully i'll get it right again Erwin, Wood and Cook to score

It's all about putting a run together and slowly climbing the table. 4 points is decent from the last two fixtures in my view

i'm with noel i'd like to see ant featured more. that first half was lacklustre. I reckon we'd have come away with the points with ant on in that first half. The other thing im hearing from noel is that botaka is not getting forward enough. we're 2 or 3 players away from being any kind of threat in this division. having said that its good to see we're creating chances. i just feel so frustrated. teams like rotherham & charlton should have been there for the taking.

"very true matty, poor match in poor conditions, like many december games,"
Which conditions were poor?
The only poor stuff, I saw/experienced were the following:
- horrible away stand,
- gents big enough to only accommodate 20,
- refreshment stand unable to handle demand and closed a few mins into second half,
- Leeds United's finishing in second half,
- Charlton's finishing in first half,
- Leeds United's passing,
- waiting 20 minutes for a "special" train back to central London (just about missed my 8:05 flight back!)
- service (?) at M&S shop and baggage storage at Terminal 3 - also almost caused me to miss my flight!
I had a fun day out - saw loads of Leeds fans at Whitehall pub, rode the train together with almost non stop singing on the train and at the game. "Massimo, it's time to go" chants numerous times but not with as much gusto as "Leeds are we" singing.
Although lots of chances created in the second half of the second half, could have easily been down by 2 or 3 by then.
Finishing was very poor for us and some of Evans points are a joke, e.g, "Wood's shot blocked by Cook." That shot, near the end was going to be at least 5 yards off target.
Wood had a golden opportunity earlier when he received he ball on his chest and bounced away from him - poor first touch! I could go on and on.
One of our biggest shortcomings us no movement off the ball - no on making a run or trying to get into space - so no one to pass to.
Thanks again for helping with the ticket guys!

Thanks for the report Jonny, Glad you had a good day ..............what did you make of the ref ? was he as bad as he seemed on the audio stream ?

I thought he was not great but not awful. Mostly got the calls right but not the misconducts - yellow cards given and not given did not seem consistent from my view but of course he saw it from different angles and was much closer to each situation than I was.
I don't think he had much of an impact either way but our finishing was atrocious. I also did not think that Wood offered much at all. Should have brought on Ante at some point.
Quality of football on both sides was sadly lacking, just not a great game from a footballing standpoint but I loved being there and fellow Leeds fans were great, as always!

Having ruminated on this for a few days, the one glaring error (taking away free kicks given, cards given or not given) that I thought he made was to give them a free kick after waving his arms up and giving the advantage. The school of thought that I adhere to is once the advantage is given and the attacking team loses the ball/messes it up, they don't get a second bite of the apple. So, usually when you see that signal it is 3 - 4 seconds after the infraction happened as the referee waits to see if he should give the free kick or let the attackers keep going.
