JJ - the lad who told me the offer & the fact it was dead got it from the manager............at the time he told me (6.30) it was dead. I've not spoken to him since, but it's apparent that Arsenal have come back in with the money we wanted. I'll get the info off him tomorrow. I couldn't give a flying f u ck what you think of it, as it was genuine info. I've never passed on BS rumours on the net, as I've never claimed to be an ITK - but on this particular deal I know someone who had direct knowledge.

I don't think there was ever a dispute between the clubs on the fee - I think the sticking point was the wage demands by Arteta. It appears that when Arsenal pulled the plug because his wage demands were too high for them he thought about it for a while and then with nothing more from Arsenal he decided to lower those demands and get Arsenal back in.
