I think your club debts dictate otherwise. £10m would be a steal though.

Have you lost the plot like your manager?

posted on 31/8/11

No Toffee Lady, unlike our manager I have not lost the plot. Mikel Arteta a replacement for both Cesc & Nasri? Bloody pathetic joke, guy is old, injury prone, inconsistent and was g@sh last season yet we are meant to be happy with him replacing Nasri and Cesc? No thank you.

I actually agree with The Adventures. On the last two seasons showing Arteta is not worth £10 Mil.

Hw can you complain, 10 mill is a decent price for an agein injury prone player. If it was fellani I'd agree!.

Disagree. First Gervinho is a replacement for Nasri and Arteta could be a good stop gap until we get the chance to spend big. For now on the focus should be on a top 4 spot. Now with Wilshere, Ramsey,Arteta and Rosicky as the creative players that is not bad for where we want to be.

We have improved our defence and lost out in the attacking side from last season. What we need to do is work as a team and become solid and then build with Wilshere as the proper creative force.

Henderson 18m
Carroll 35m
Teta 10m

It doesn't look overpriced now does it?

I don't know why I am trying to justify why he is worth at least 10m...I don't want him to go!

Yes fair enough mate...we'll take £40M.

In my opinion,
If,If he goes,it will be for an undisclosed fee.

Now Benayoun would be a joke of a replacement. Fingers crossed your not going in for him.......oh dear.

Charred,
cant agree with you at all on that one.
The Arteta of two years ago yes.He has been less & less influential since his injury imo.

Charred,

Completely agree.

Whatever price we sell him at, what with no time to replace would be a massive blow to our team. (Rooney)

Hoping the lad from Hurcules isn't thought of as that replacement.

I've never been critical of the board but if we sell Arteta, whom Bill referred to as 'one of the finest players to wear an everton shirt' this time last year, without a quality replacement I'll be really pi**ed off and dissapointed.
