Things we learnt tonight...

1. Ranieri reads the game fantastically well and continues to make the right decisions tactically - kept it as it was at half time and we would very likely have lost
2. Krameric clearly has no future here - expect to see him depart shortly
3. DeLaet looked poor after being used to Simpson - don't believe he'll be back at RB anytime soon in the PL
4. Chilwell and Gray both looks very talented - I expect Gray to be challenging Albrighton this season.
5. Inler - getting marginally better with each game but still not convinced he'll get the game time to improve enough - a loan to a bottom half PL club would do him the world of good - we can then re-evaluate in the summer
6. Kasper seriously needs to improve his distribution otherwise I expect Ranieri to be looking at other options - its been poor now for the last few months and for everything he brings in passion and team spirit (see Nevs article) his command an distribution let him down. That said I love the guy and want him to push on and be our No1

in all seriousness guys Im not looking for a argument with you, you have been a breath of fresh air this season, just feel we will have to much on weds
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I expect a very close game and another potential draw but wouldn't rule out a narrow away win.

Don't think Vardy will make it. If not I think we'll play 4-4-2 as we did second half with Okazaki starting.

Mahrez will be back in though and our midfield will look very different.

I think it would be good if Vardy wasn't back, just to see how well Oki does in that role

I agree with that, been wanting to see him in his favourite position since we signed him. I've known about him for a long time because I still follow the Blue Samarai and I have seen what he can do for Japan.

The way he turned the Spurs defence inside out was what I've been used to seeing from him and quite a lot of one on ones because he plays on the last defender and chases everything like Vardy, he's just not as fast.

That said you can't get away from a Japanese player, yeah you can get by them but they'll be back at you and eventually take the ball because they're so fit. What you lack in pace with Okazaki, you gain in tenacity and he wont give anything up. He also has a way of getting the wrong side for the defender because of his movement and he'll win plenty of free kicks in dangerous areas.

His reactions are also brilliant, every goal this season he's had to react quickly to a rebound and to be fair, when he's had a chance he's pretty much scored hasn't he? Does anyone recall him missing any Ulloa like chances? I can't but feel free to correct!

Okazaki is a quality player and we've not seen the best of him because of the role he's been asked to play so I'm also kind of hoping Vardy is rested.

"Tongue in cheek maybe from Lawrenson?? ??"

--------

Nope, he gave it as an answer on celebrity Pointless to "Countries beginning with A". The guy who presents Football Focus was killing himself with laughter.
