I'd probably agree with most of that Woodhouse. Except I thought De Laet had a great game, along with the other three at the back. We looked disciplined and solid.

We didn't have much of the first half and we didn't have any out ball, and a lot of that was down to Inler unfortunately, but he didn't have a bad game really.

I've also learned that I cannot like Spurs in any way no matter how much I try...
Gray looks brilliant and will learn his defensive side no doubt. Alli on the other hand is petulant

1. I thought the substitution looked planned, like it was pre-decided that Okazaki (or at least someone) would come on for Kante at half time. This makes it even more inexplicable that Kramaric wasn't on the bench.
2. Agree; we need a new striker.
3. Agree; we need a new right back. De Laet is still useful on the ball and in attack, but defensively he too often looks asleep.
4. Gray looked decent but raw; Chilwell grew into it after a nervy first half hour. But I don't think either will be in the first 11 in a fully available squad this season.
5. Inler had a much better game in my eyes; he didn't dawdle on the ball nearly as much as usual. Hope returns.
6. Jasper had a poor game today, just as he was getting plaudits from his critics. Typical!
7. I thought King was below par in the first half but much better in the second. He remains a highly reliable option.

I don't understand why Alli felt the need to slam into Chilwell. It was pointless and he should have been booked for it.

There was a school of thought that a Spurs 2nd string would be much better than a Leicester 2nd string.

It's true that Vardy and Mahrez give our team that something extra special, but we're quietly building some real strength in depth. That is very encouraging.

I don't agree about Gray, I thought he looked assured, confident and ready to step straight into the first team squad.

Absolutely Woodhouse. 5 in the middle doesn't suit Kante. But what Ranieri has done has kept us in the game at half time, also against Man City, whereas going too far behind in those type of games can be harder to pull back.

On our strength in depth, it's very encouraging also because you can see how they fit into our style of play, which is working very well.

I do wonder why Krameric is so out of favour. Wonder if it's a poor attitude in training or the comments in the media in November.

He has lacked composure for us when given the opportunity but today would have been a great game to give him a window.

Ranieri has apparently said he will be wasting 6 months if he doesn't leave in this window.

Couldn't be clearer.

I expect a very close game and another potential draw but wouldn't rule out a narrow away win.

will you go 2 up do you think on weds night? vardy and okazaki? was impressed with oazaki looks a handful

Don't think Vardy will make it. If not I think we'll play 4-4-2 as we did second half with Okazaki starting.

Mahrez will be back in though and our midfield will look very different.
