Why is there so much negativity over the signing of Arteta?
All summer people have been saying we need some proven quality and premiership experience in midfield.
Now we are on the verge of signing a 28/29 year old with bags of EPL experience, great shot, good passing range and great delivery from free kicks/corners all poeple can do is moan with havent signed a bunch of unproved young(ish) players (M'Vila, Hazard, Martin etc)

Arteta is a good buy. We should have signed him 2 to 3 seasons ago already.

Here we are. So true. And that implies that he isnt at the level now. But the level 3 seasons ago is what we need to replace Fabregas.

Like I said, the deal is NOT done, and Sky has cut the odds of it failing because they are apparently running out of time - only Arsenal could f___k this up
