Stokes

United have agreed a deal with Celtic to take Stokes on loan.

Now up to the player.

I knew this would happen.

For what it's worth, I don't think he'll sign for us, but I would happily take him as a player.

As a person I think he's an utter kant and it will pain me to cheer him on if he does sign.

I'd also be concerned at how motivated he'll be if he does sign for us. He might not feel he has anything to prove.

Some big games at Hibs as you've said, another game against Rangers, a cup tie at Hearts, a cup semi final plus the pressure of the promotion games and if they don't make automatic, the play offs. Reckon this will drag on right up until the wndow closes though as both Stokes and the club will want to gather every option. Could change at the weekend depending on clubs having players injured in upcoming games etc.

Zach, I would say imo that Rangers look a bit away from anyone in that div, by the end I suspect you will be at least 10 points clear so Stokes might help Hibs with second place and a possible play off but winning the league I feel is beyond them

I see Hibs are away at Falkirk at the weekend, tough game.

I think I'm right in saying that's on BT on Sunday? Will be worth a watch.

I've actually been enjoying watching other Scottish football games this season on the tele. Hearts v Aberdeen was another good watch at the weekend, 100mph stuff with a good crowd.

I always try to watch other Scottish games. I've got far more interest in it than the stuff down south.

Admittedly the two English games this week have been good to watch, but then the two games last week on BT were dreadful.

Dundee utd don't need Stokes they need David Copperfield.

Can't see it happening to be honest, not if they leave it up to the player.

Is there not a rule about how many players can go on loan from one club to another though? I thought that came up a few weeks ago when there was a suggestion that Scott Allan might go to Hibs on loan?
