Looking at some today's gossip / and yesterday's shambles, it got me thinking, we are being linked with PSGs Rabiot, for me I would love to see a creative mobile midfield of Schneiderlin, Herrera and Rabiot.
Carrick (unfortunately) and Sweinstiger (more unfortunately - wish he was 5 years younger) are passed there best. Actually massively passed there best, and no longer have the legs. Van gaals rigid structure doesn't help either.
I'm assuming the Schneiderlin / Herrera haters will be out in force, but look how well Schneiderlin played before he came here. Look how well Herrera used to play in Spain.
I'm not saying Rabiot is the answer but pace, skill, aggression should be. Anything but Fellaini!

Herrera and Rabiot would be creative.
Schneiderlin is also a box to box midfielder for Southampton.
But yet and the system doesn't help at all with two midfielders rigidly struck infront of the back four... Leaving rooney and other completely isolated and starved of service.

Herrera is way too inconsistent.
Yesterday he was complete guff.
Did absolutely nothing of note and he looks so unfit.

Yes he was, but I also thought he was a scapegoat to some extent.
There are no runners around him. Even martial and rooney are massively static. Lingard was worse in my opinion.
We don't run off the ball there's no movement infront or behind... It's infuriating!
