Fernando Torres

What has happened to Torres?

At Atletico as Captain he was scoring for fun.

He signed for Liverpool as started off by scoring for fun.

Then it slowly dried up.

Huge money move to Chelsea and not a great strike rate.

AC Milan same outcome.

Loaned back to Atletico and only 2 goals in 24 games and they don't want to extend his loan.

This player had the world at his feet and now can't even get a contract at his boyhood club who he Captained as a teenager.

Only Arsenal sell to league rivals really so it'll be mainly their players.

I'll think you'll find it was Liverpool who sold Sterling to ManC.

He's a free agent in the summer, and a Spanish Newspaper was reporting this week that Barca were looking at signing him on a free as a backup striker for next season

Completing the set of having played for the three greatest clubs in the top three leagues.

Did he not have a dodgy knee in his last season at Liverpool? Then they mugged Chelsea off for £50m

Super player in his prime.

Remember when Liverpool tried to pretend £35m for Andy Carroll was a good deal because they got £50m for Torres?

Liverpool during that period was just hilarious. As well as the £35m for Carrol, they spent huge money on utter cack like
£2m for Danny Wilson
£3m for Paul Konchesky
£4.5m for Christian Poulsen
£7m for Charlie Adam
£7m for Sebastián Coates
£10m for Fabio Borini
and to top it all off...
£20m for Stewart Downing

Mind you, £23m for Luis Suárez turned out to be a decent buy.

Didn't he have a knee injury at some point? I thought that might have been the start of his downfall as it coincides with him starting to struggle at Liverpool before his move to Chelsea.
Remember when he scored two goals against Chelsea in the 2-0 win over them at Anfield and everyone thought he was getting back to form.
