We all remember the League Cup game from 2009 and the superb goal from Kris Commons at Pride Park. The free kick from Giles Barnes at Old Trafford in the second leg, was also one to remember.
In 2016, Man U are not the force they once were. Rooney for example was 24 years old and dangerous. Not so much anymore.
Derby had Steven Davis and Gary Teale, Man U had Christiano Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs.
Arguably, Derby have a very realistic chance of progressing to the 5th round against a Man United side and Manager that is particularly vulnerable at present.
A welcome distraction for Derby, the FA Cup still has that air of optimism about it, with thoughts perhaps of, could it be our year.??
There's a lot of players at Derby at the moment or a lot of options to choose from. I think Clemment owes it to himself to pit his wits, coaching expertise and best players, against one of the most famous teams and biggest Clubs in the World.
Here is my desired squad for Friday night and I would invite others to submit their preferences.
Carson
Christie
Buxton
Shackell
Warnock
Hendrick
Butterfield
Camara
Ince
Blackman
Bent.
Subs: Grant, Keogh, Russell, Weiman, Johnson

Even if he's not having a purple-patch of form, O'Hendricks' "anonymous" is better than Johnson's stinking up the place.

O'Hendrix is mixing it with the big boys in the summer. #CB4 is round yours for a BBQ watching him on tele. There's the difference.

Geography? You're giving me geography?!!
Richard Keogh will be there too, THAT is how crap Ireland are: they can't even bring in any decent ringers, ffs.

Yes Keogh isn't round yours either...another you and #CB4 will be watching on the tele.

It'll be like watching 90 minutes of someone playing Pin The Tail On The Donkey.

Just being having a craic with Jeffs mum on an Irish Rams FB site she's just joined, what a lovely woman, all fingers and toes crossed for tomorrow night and obviously very proud of her lad and how dear he holds the club in his heart.
So glad I didn't encourage her to have a look at what some Rams fans really think of him.

Incidentally, weather forecast a bit iffy for the weekend. Electrickery unlikely so may have to give tomorrow a miss. If so have a good one... COYR
