Playing Bent if Camara is playing isn't a bad idea as Camara will get the ball into the box where Bent is most effective. I would think Weimann would be Bent's most effective partner, using the old smash and grab formula. How could anyone in their right mind pick Blackman ahead of Martin?

I'm not sure that would improve against world class defenders.
The forward line of Blackman & Bent hasn't been tried, so I don't know how you can say they wouldn't score in 100 years.

I think the team selected will be very interesting. It's important that Clemment's selection at least looks like he wants to win the game.

Martin hasn't scored for a while but has at least made chances and goals for others. What has Blackman done to deserve being ahead in the pecking order. He has had three chances when I have seen him play and fluffed them all. Theo Robinson would have been more effective.

Both Bent and Blackman need to be able to run on the ball. Neither appear to like the ball played to feet. Without someone to play the ball for them into space in the area they wont score.

We all know your drop Martin nonsense from last season Wassa. We did really well when he was out at the end of last season didn't we. We played brilliantly against Reading as well without him.

OLSSON CLEAR TO PLAY

Back to the FA Cup and good news for Derby fans, with confirmation new signing Marcus Olsson is available to play against Manchester United tomorrow night. We mentioned this morning a player has to be registered by noon on the Friday before a tie to be eligible to play but given this match takes place on a Friday, that strictly means Olsson's paperwork would have to have been completed by last Friday and he was still a Blackburn player at that point. We have been told, however, Olsson has been cleared to play and he should be in Paul Clement's squad.

So you want to play 4-2-4 do you? Playing Camara, Ince, Blackman and Bent would mean you would only have 2 in midfield. This would be madness as shown at Middlesbrough when a midfielder was taken off at 0-0 for Yman. Then we shipped 2 goals.

I would rather have all our midfield players in the team with Martin up front, then we might just get a grip of the game.
