What can i say....it's not media speculation or 'sources close to the deal', that been the actual stance that Shaktar vocally expressed.

Think Milik is a good player that Klopp can make absolutely brilliant.

Ofcourse they dont want to sell in jan, but why would they say 'you have to pay this much now if you want him' if they wouldnt sell him this window.. so they will sell him, but theyd prefer to wait until the summer

I don't ever remember it being reported that the deal was being agreed for the summer.

It has always been signing him for now.

The Matip and Grulic deals were agree now for summer moves.

Not bothered in the least that Tiexeira isn't coming to us, and probably never will. Had it not been for the injuries, I very much doubt whether Jurgen would have signed anybody this January. He's got a lot of goodwill running on his shoulders, no need to spunk it up the wall needlessly, when he can get far better value for money in the summer.

Again, in his press interview today, he stressed that he doesn't live in Disneyland to spend the amount of money spent by other clubs. Good on him.

I do like the Kloppster, but: its clear we need real quality in the team/squad. I dont actually think we need that much, but 2 or 3 top top players and imo we will off and running. Tex could, could be one of these and for that I hope we get him.

The one thing to take out of this predicable ending is that Shakhtar deserve plenty of credit for signing the player in the first place and making him a player clubs will bid a high price for.

I don't blame Shakhtar's CEO in the slightest for playing hardball, they have no need to sell and their own battle to fight for CL football and their own domestic title.

This club spent 6 million Euros on the player and have got a tune out of him for their money while we have paid closer to 25 million pounds for Lallana and he's hit and miss at best.

Hopefully now Klopp is overseeing transfers we can pull off a few bargains of our own. Perhaps Grujic will be one of those?
