Time for protest ??

Sell the club to someone who has passion for NOTTINGHAM FOREST, because it is plainly obvious that our present owners do not care an ounce about us.

US being the supporters, who through thick & thin have supported OUR club. Like many I have spent my hard earned cash, on numerous occasions not really being able to afford the cash, in pursuit of following the club I love so dearly.

As man & boy I have seen the great days & as you have to expect the not so great days, but that is what a true supporter of any club should do, support your club.

There however comes a time when enough is enough, I for one feel that time has now come.
The “devils tool" a.k.a. the AP has taken your & my club to a place that I just cannot find words to express.

The players, the manager & we deserve better – owners OUT & do it now!!!

Time for protest – your views guys & girls??

Can we not blend it in with next EDL bash or local riot?

I'd have Diop and Landsbury but as you say we can't compete with West Ham.

"if doughty is spending his own cash, how can forest be £60M in debt?he is merely securing loans so no money comes out of his own bank.hes done a good job on conning you.wake up."

Stabbo Red, it really isn't me that needs to "wake up". He owns the Club and supports it, the £63m debt financially, and with a regular £6m per annum. Where he gets the money from, his business, his own piggy bank, etc doesn't really matter. If you think his financial backing is trivial, then do it yourself.

But what we do know is that if he wanted to have his money back or stopped stumping up the £6m shortfall in operating costs each year, then Forest would not be around for you to moan about.

I've got no reason to argue with Strettea Red's figures. If they don't show a comittment then I wonder what does.

His commitment is beyond doubt. What is in doubt, however, is his ability to run a football club within it's financial means. Spending more money seems pretty stupid without guarantees of success - and who can give that?

I suspect that he does want promotion, but wants to achieve it without big spending if possible, It is only far eastern consortium or multi billionaires that seem able to throw money away.

Look at Stoke, they got promotion on a very limited budget and it is only several years after gaining promotion have they felt "consolidated" enough to start splashing the cash about.

That is all

Reid is not better than Tyson. That is likely to be an all to obvious painfull fact in a couple of games time.

The replacement or rather the sacking of Billy Davis, wasn't planned, it wasn't carefully considered programme management. Trust me I know about these things! If it had of been then Billy would have been relieved of his duties the following day from the play off defeat to Swansea.

It was a moment of ruthless opportunism grasped when it became known that McClaren was in the UK was looking for a return to English Football and Aston Villa got cold feet.

Project and programme risk are not well understood concepts within the City Ground board room. The present fall out illustrates this all to well.

a] lack of communication between manager and boardroom

b] a bizare failure to motivate and select the right player combinations resulting in the Hammers fiasco

c] players arguing on the field resulting in a split dressing room

Why Doughty should wish to carry on just loosing money, making poor executive decisions and not being well liked for it makes for an interesting debate?

Strettea his performance against the Hammers was abysmal.

I would humiliate him and would litterally put him on the pie counter on match day to teach him a lesson!

That would either deliver a message, or I would send him on his way.
