Not posted for a long time on here. Sometimes it just feels like people use this forum to attack rather than debate but I saw this on another site and its well worth sharing.
How accurate or truthful is a matter of debate, but that is the point, debate not just ridicule....

2-3 years out of date, but this gives us an idea:
Leeds turnover 3rd highest in the league after Bolton and Wolves.
Wage bill, stated at 20m was 11th highest.
Anyone have more up to date data?

Jonny
The wage bill is currently £13m.

"He broke some law in Italy that isn't illegal anymore"
Would you mind telling what law that was exactly, please, Perth?
Because I thought he'd been found guilty of tax evasion.
Has Italy made tax evasion legal?

Wages weren't in top 6 last year and wages are supposed to be even lower now.
But hey, if Evans says it, that's good enough for Perth.

Turnover--------------£25,290,530-----£28,567,937 -----£31,080,000
Wages & Salaries-----£22,370,106-----£20,004,401-----£17,828,000
Fair comment if you want to point out that the gap between turnover and salaries and wages has grown too small.
However, what proportion of S&W is attributable to players?

Oops, should have prefaced that by "I believe these numbers are accurate for Leeds United:"

The £13m has come from Phil Hay.

Good old Phil hay
Takes rumours and put them as his own articles on YEP
And do you know where Phil hay got £13m from.
Cellino last summer saying it and we all know what he's like.
I'd be surprised if it's less than 15m for the whole club but I do agree it's gone down and is too low to support a promotion winning side
