I know Wassall is there till the end of the season, but you could do a lot worse that get Big Nige in the summer.
He may have gone a bit mental in front of the cameras towards the end of last season but he was an absolute great manager for us. Got rid of a lot of overpaid has-beens, reduced the wage bill and took us from League 1 to the Premier League and kept us there (just).
He lives in Sheffield so only a short commute down the M1 to Derby.
If you gave him time I reckon he would definitely get you promoted.

That's because he had to undo a culture that Sven had set up. You have better players than he started with and had to offload.
He got us out of League 1 at the first time of asking.

He wouldn't be a bad call, you would just have to expect the unexpected. He wouldn't be my first choice but up there near it. The right character to get us in the prem but maybe not to succeed there as per Leicester. Good luck with the title by the way, be great to break the monopoly and would be pleased for Ranieri

Well our owner is currently taking about a Derby way despite buying £25 million worth of players that don't play that way, so there is a fair bit of undoing needed, not sure NP playing style would be the Derby way either though.

They were the slickest team in the Championship when he took them up, I expected them not to struggle so badly as they did for their first season, but he turned the ship so credit where it is due
