Mauricio Pochettino: Tottenham must match Liverpool's '200 per cent' to win title
Pochettino expects his Spurs players to be pumped up for the title run-in, he believes his players will similarly do their utmost to emulate the great LFC teams of the past.
He said: “We need to equalise the same mental level as we expect the Liverpool players are in, 200 per cent commitment".
“We need to stay in the same mental level and try to equalise their energy and play in our way.
I'm not surprised by these comments at all really. We all know how they want to be like us.

They are decent ...and have kept their best players fit ..
they look fit and poch is an astute , good manager..
and are comfortably better than us currently...
I wish our fans would stop saying stuff like "in our shadow" coz we look like doughnuts ...
we need to get our house in order first...

Liverpool are currently light years behind Spurs. Unable to string together more than a couple of wins in a row, before getting gubbed by a minnow. If the truth be told, other than one freak season, Liverpool have been dropping further behind Spurs for years now. Klopp ain't going to change much, if anything.

Funny how 'doing a Spurs' was a by word for failure....now most fans would want their team to 'do a Spurs'....and not just because we're 2nd but because the way we've achieved it so far with young players, an English core and a real team effort without any egos in the camp, not just buying success.

We've virtually achieved CL football with the youngest squad (and side) in the division.
If that is all we achieve it will still be a good season.
