I'd like us to be more like them at this point.
Its common knowledge that the comments were misquoted in the article and Poch really meant that they be like LFC in order to win the PL.

Spurs didn't bid for the OS. They bid for the right to knock it down and rebuild it like a football stadium not a running track.

Spurs have done a great job. the only moment where the wheels came of is when the money from bale went to certain heads and got wasted
I think they've used europa well, used youth development well and have got to the point where they COULD kick on and put chelsea and utd in thier place
The big risk is utd and cheslea will wave cash round that FFP should not allow them to and they will buy kane and rob poch.
Spurs need to think hard now, get to CL do you break the wage structure betting on tv money and pay kane and poch enough that the lure of chelea and utd is not so much.
excellent keeper, loyal to the project it seems
good CBS
Decent CMs
Average full backs
Excellent attacking players.
Solid, well drilled... just need to keep developing and be given the time to do it without the vultures picking it apart from without or within.
LFC on the other hand.
Dross in goal
Dross at the back
Dross in midfield
3 decent players up front if fit.
upper management very amateur hour and lots of making do.
I'd much rather be in spurs shoes.

FFP was the brain child of someone who is now suspended for corruption.
FFP doesn't exist
though i cant see kane or poch wanting to leave
They wont be at chelsea
They mgiht go to united brand united but in reality no one really wants to play for them

"upper management very amateur"
This.
Have to agree with that. They're going on a title challenge without having to rely on 1 world class players. Instead they have a team of very good players.
Would disagree with that comment, Lloris is definitely WC & in the top 6 goalkeepers in the World
"Would disagree with that comment, Lloris is definitely WC & in the top 6 goalkeepers in the World"
Here we go again.
What defines "world class"?
Is it being one of the SIX best in your position now?
Well if you look at keepers like Neuer, Courtois, Buffon etc, he is on a par with them & they are in my opinion WC.
He is way ahead in class and ability than Liverpool's goalkeeper!
Considering how many top class goalkeepers there in football, to be ranked in the top 40 would be a good achievement, however to be rated in the Top 10 is even better!

They are decent ...and have kept their best players fit ..
they look fit and poch is an astute , good manager..
and are comfortably better than us currently...
I wish our fans would stop saying stuff like "in our shadow" coz we look like doughnuts ...
we need to get our house in order first...

WUMs aside, Liverpool are in a very similar boat to Spurs, albeit a rear behind.
We've both had a very good side in recent years, then lost two of the better players from it for big dough.
Both gone on a big spree with the cash, then subsequently sacked oor young coach.
We both followed up the sacking by appointing very promising young coaches.
We have the two youngest squads in the division.
I think Liverpool have a lot of ingredients in place to get right back up there next season myself, Klopp is sounding out his squad as Poch did last season, albeit without the benefit of a pre season or a Summer window.
A good, solid GK.
A quality centre back.
Those two could make all the difference. Can in midfield, with Henderson. Clyne and Moreno (who I rate a lot) would be liberated by this.
There are a plethora of forward options, the pick being Sturridge, Coutinho and Firmino, all of who (when fit) are top class players.

So the things Spurs fans say are ok but you are embarrassed when a Liverpool fan hits back? Stop playing saint. It was a deserving response to the sheet being posted.
In any case, it's still a fact, no matter how embarrassed you might get.
Not playing saint..i hate spurs with a passion..almost as much as i hate utd...
