meireles should start. the midfield should be ramires, meireled, lampard

differing opinions i guess, but in my opinion he is nothing more than a squad player

I know he's hardly a flash player but you're underestimating what he'd bring to this current midfield and under-rating him as a player.

Ever since Ballack left our big problem has been our failure to dominate midfields. At 12 mill Meireles is a steal, Pool's best player last season and the Fans player of the year. Also his age means he's less likely to inhibit Josh

It better be if they are still asking for £40million. I hope that was their only chance to recieve such a fee.

i see Meireles like Ballack in our midfield.Not as strong, but can hold the ball well and make a good pass.

And can run too
